GOOD LUCK POOR COUNTRIES !!!
Often the poor counties spend the most on Military expenses. Not sure if they are actually used as military spending or they go down the drain as corruptions. If you look at the countries that are spending the most on Military spending (Vs GDP) are those with huge burning issues such as unemployment and homelessness. How come the fire power become number one priority of many states that has no security threat?

For an example "Eritrea" spend the most as a percentage aginst their GDP. Sri Lanka is the 2nd with the biggest Defense budget against the GDP ? Can someone help me figure out. I am certain many developed countries are behind these small nations in terms of military spending against their total budget.

While some of these small nations spend a huge portion of their income as military spending there are some small nations who have adopted Zero military budget policy. Let us applause them for taking this great step.

For an example, Costa Rica spend their military budget on Environment protection. So they don't have a military budget but an environment budget. How great is that? They have seen a huge increase in tourism income mainly due to their divers environment.

Why can't these countries save these unnecessary spending on fire power but invest that money on their public's betterment? For an example, Food, Water, Education and Heat

Here is a list of countries without military spending.

2. Costa Rica
3. Grenada
4. Kiribati
5. Liechtenstein
6. Marshall Islands
7. Federated States of Micronesia
